Intriguing Preview Activity: 5 W's Chart
After students learn about the fall of each civilization students will be sent to fill out all of the basic information they learned. By filling out the 5 W’s chart, younger students are able to fully understand what it means for a group of people to conquer another. The students will end up creating a newspaper article with their graphic organizer. Students draw a picture, create a title, and then write out their 5 W’s to create their own unique newspaper article.
