Processing: Best Civilization Award
After students learn about the Inca, Maya, and Aztecs and their five subtopics for each (cities, leaders, farming, religion, and writing) they will be able to choose which one was their favorite and explain why by using the award worksheet. They will write the name of the civilization, two facts about it, and why it is their favorite. The goal of this activity is to sum up the unit in a cohesive manner while incorporating essential questions.
